Training Update
This entry will update all of you on Jazz’s last two classes, since nothing really interesting has happened; in fact she is doing very well. Week 3, Jazz did very well both in puppy drills as well as the social part of the class. The main lesson Jazz learned in week 3 is the greater understanding that all owners have treats; therefore if she comes to all of the owners even if they are not calling her, there is a high probability that she will get the other dogs treats. This thought process would have gone unnoticed if she could have controlled the Shepard high pitch yelp. Week 4, Jazz is getting board with the class which was expected. I did however; learn that she needs to learn a trick in order to pass graduation! I believe that graduation is next week, which means I need to really work on the tricks; I wonder if flipping the trash can cover counts as a trick??
